HYDRIOL® PGI - (Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate)

High-performance w/o emulsifier for the production of modern, light w/o creams and w/o lotions. The typical use concentration is 2.5 - 3.0%! HYDRIOL® PGI is compatible with most oils and emollients from polar to apolar. Thanks to the liquid form, energy is saved and heat sensitive substances can be used in production of emulsions in the cold/cold process. HYDRIOL® PGI enables the production of formulations with a very pleasant, non-sticky skin feel. To increase the stability of thin, sprayable w/o lotions and w/o milks, we recommend using HYDRIOL® PGI together with HYDRIOL® PGR. You will find numerous examples of formulations with HYDRIOL® PGI in our collection of formulations. HYDRIOL® PGI is palm oil-free and COSMOS tested. HYDRIOL® PGI is oxidation-stable and suitable for the production of water-resistant sun protection formulations. In decorative formulations such as lipsticks or make-up foundations, HYDRIOL® PGI helps to improve texture and distribution on the skin.
